Event Notes
SAWBONES is a countrified, bluesrockabilly, roots rock quartet formed in Camrose, Alberta in 2018. Their 2019 debut album, "Rejects", has been heard around the world through the miracle of streaming web sites, but it is the live experience where this tasty four-piece with a side of groovy truly shines. Their musical style is akin to a whiskey barrel full of Hank Williams, Blackberry Smoke and Arc Angels with a dash of Allman Brothers.
The SAWBONES members themselves... frontman Terry 'Sawbones' Grant, drummer Jeff Nyback, guitar slinger Curtis Meikle and bassist Chad Charbonneau are preparing for 2024 with new songs, a new look and a new album in the summer. On February 9th, the historic Bailey Theatre will provide an apt background for the next phase of the well-dressed outfit's career. Not only will SAWBONES be showcasing some new songs (as well as the tried & true favorites) but a multi-camera video shoot will also take place. One or more music videos will be released in '24, showcasing the band, it's fans and the mighty splendour of the ol' Bailey! This dapper quartet is built for the dance floor, airwaves or a moonlit highway with catchy choruses made for hummin', drivin' or lovin'. So come to a SAWBONES show and be ready to participate in the aforementioned.
